O’scià event

From mid-2003 to 2012 in Lampedusa, the maestro Claudio Baglioni has created a cultural event whose goal was to raise awareness for national and international immigration and everything related to migrants who move from Lampedusa and that here also died in a tragic way. This shows the site of the foundation O’scià about the same

“The event, followed by a public record and from all major local and national media, it soon became credited as the most important event in artistic / musical background of social our country and, ultimately, in the European context.’s why O’SCIA ‘has earned the patronage of the President of the Republic, under the patronage of the Senate and House of Representatives, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Heritage and Culture, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Youth, Ministry of European Affairs, Ministry of Environment, City of Lampedusa and Linosa and the Sicilian Region. O’SCIA ‘has also received a greeting and blessing of His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, and won the support of prestigious international organizations like the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Amnesty International, as well as the patronage of the Vice-President of the European Commission.
